What most days feel like

I love the "What my ... thinks I do" meme. The first and best that I saw was the one about being an artist, made by Garnet Hertz.

I originally ran into it in a blog post by Hyperallergic

While I do spend a ridiculous time on my computer, and it's mostly writing emails and making submissions and proposals, here's what most of my days feel like to me:

That's my imagination monster.

This is me working. Yay!

"Do all the things!" is a shout-out to Hyperboleandahalf, the funniest blog ever. I constantly refer to that sentiment..

This is the most joyous monster ever drawn! And that rider - an ideal model for today's woman: A totally modern girl!! We need a children's book with this much confidence and abandon! Can you design a story that's 90% illustrations featuring this imaginative equestrian on her re-mark-able steed? What if the girl wielded a magic marker to re-draw her steed "per need"? Carry us away on the hefty wings of your inimitable imagination! Your talent with dancing ink soars!
